Meet the James Family (yes, James is our last name!)

Wendy James is the wife, mom, costume designer, the lead singer and songwriter and is the best ever at being a fashion queen on a tight (or no) budget. Ask her about her shoe and purse collection. She grew up as a farm girl/gas station attendant in the Thumb of Michigan, and has gotten used to Dad's favorite joke about Michigan: “What do you call summer in Michigan? 4 days of bad sledding.” Just kidding, he loves the State and the people. She also loves art, drawing and painting. She is available between shows as a personal shopper / fashion consultant for a nominal fee (usually fancy coffee). Dave James (aka Mr. Wendy) is the husband and dad. He handles the business stuff and learned to drive a 39' RV while pulling a 25' trailer by driving to Traverse City, Mi (450 miles) the first day. His main claim to fame is his ability to play songs on his hands. Ask him to play a song for you. World-class virtuoso. He grew up in Indiana, played Hoosier basketball (go Pacers and IU), played college baseball and has been a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals for as long as he can remember (which is getting to be pretty long!) He has hung up the cleats but still plays golf - sometimes to a 3 handicap. I'm Zac and I'm 19 and...HEY THIS IS DAD and I'm taking over...time for a little payback. Actually, I'm very proud of Z and his brother Ben. They have been performing all of their lives, and full-time since 2000 with WJG. In the early days they did some really cute things that they don’t really want to be reminded about now (but see the scrapbook part of the site anyway) . Zac is an accomplished musician and songwriter, and plays a great acoustic, electric and bass guitar, drums and piano. He loves playing and singing on the Worship Team at church, computers, reading, video game playing and design, sports (especially golf and sandlot football) and friends. He has been homeschooled since after the 4th grade and loves it. He is now a freshman at Cedarville University with a double major in pastoral studies and music (piano). He plans to be a worship leader. He asks that I use one of his graduation pictures that shows off his goatee (sort of...) instead of this picture when he was 16. We'll see how many A's he pulls and then decide!

This is Zac - I'm back. Ben James is my younger brother. He's 16 and a Sophomore in High School.. Although we are different (he's much more of a free spirit) we're best buddies. He's great on piano and electric guitar and has a voice that can knock you over (we won't talk about his breath!). Ben loves to talk politics, mow, play golf, read, computers, video games, movies and friends.

By the way, you can't see it, but that's a Sponge-Bob tie he's wearing. For some reason that I can't comprehend, he loves to wear a tie.
